Multi-agency connections – this is a very relevant and meaningful read, a sad one too and I also send my condolences to Mr Rippon’s family. I’m an ED nurse and it troubles me when we at times (usually given the busyness of Eds) don’t always IMO undertake comprehensive mental health assessment, and connect in a timely appropriate way with mental health liaison teams, police, social work, probation, homeless health services etc, and this helpful blog is a reminder to redouble our efforts to do so on every occasion.
